Hello and welcome to Radio Free Woodstania, the Woodstanic News Radio Station that tells the Tommies the truth about the war. I am Jeremy Bellamy and… (introduce yourself).

[Song 1 – Support the Truth, Jim’s Big Ego]

No doubt you will have heard the rumours that Tyrant Woodrow has been deposed; these rumours are true. Originally the rebellion began in our Northern neighbours Eorltheod – which was unified with Woodstania earlier in the year – as two of their more belligerent and disgruntled citizens, the Cyng Theodoric and his loyal companion GrĂma Haradrim, returned to liberate the nation from Woodrow’s iron grip. Horse and Machine clashed as the Tyrant called in reinforcements from Stormark, led by not-so-all-Holy Pope Magnus Camillus II. During the conflict Sfeir Afudyakno, also known as Vilhelm von Benkern, switched sides to support the Eorltheod liberation forces, which were soon joined by New Brittanian and Babkhan troops. Soon enough Woodrow and his Papal cronies fled to Stormark, and Grima proclaimed Sfeir Deposer of the Tyrant and Satrap of Woodstania.

With a forceful change of government often comes a change of forum, and so the Woodstanic official forum has been changed, and will be included in the Show Notes. It is generally agreed that the skin of the new forum is much better than the mixed and bland colours of the General-President’s regime. The new forum was generously designed by Ardashir Khan Osmani of Babkha for, at the current exchange rate, is approximately 500 Babkhan Rials.

[Song 2 – Wrong Side of the Revolution, Josh Woodward]

Satrapal Decrees have been produced faster than babies in an underground Babkhan harem this week as the Satrap standardized his Decrees and laid down rules concerning cultures and regions of Woodstania. A total of six decrees have been made by the Satrap since his arrival on the 19th of June, probably more than the General-President made in his entire career. The Woodstanic Armed Forces have also been developing fast, with the West Novgard Gendarmes and the SS Irrepressible going into full service.

Finally, it was revealed on the 28th of June that the Woodros Monarchy, which oppressed the peoples of Woodstania to a horrible extent before the General-President came to power, was in fact under the protection of Woodrow during his reign. As it turns out he was related to them, and from the very outset of the revolution he claimed to start he had no intention of setting the people of Woodstania free. In a swift and violent move by the Satrap, this family which was believed to be dead has undergone a bloody purge by the combined forces of Woodstania, New Brittania and Babkha.

Well that’s all the news for today. Keep listening to Radio Free Woodstania, the Woodstanic News Radio Station that cannot tell a lie. Goodbye for now.
